UAS7 PRO Calculator

The weekly Urticaria Activity Score (UAS7) is a patient-reported outcome (PRO) tool that combines the scores for itch and hive severity to reflect disease activity in patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) over 7 days. This interactive tool will provide you with a means to evaluate disease activity in your patients with CSU.

Instructions


The UAS7 is the sum of the daily scores for the 2 components of hives and itch1:
  • Weekly Hives Severity Score (HSS7), a sum of the daily hives score for 7 days. (0 to 21 points)
  • Weekly Itch Severity Score (ISS7), a sum of the daily itch score for 7 days. (0 to 21 points)
Select the score that best reflects your patient's disease activity from days 1 to 7.

Scoring Key

Hives (wheals)
0 = None1 = <20 hives2 = 20-50 hives3 = >50 hives
Itch Severity
0 = None 1 = Mild (present but not annoying or troublesome) 2 = Moderate (troublesome but does not interfere with normal daily activity or sleep) 3 = Intense (interferes with normal daily activity or sleep)
